road trip find: abandoned drive-in
sweet birthday o' mine. went to picton in search of a deluxe lunch at harvest. we explored the town before lunch, loved the old theatre and the bookstore. afterwards we sought salvation in the sandbanks provincial park which has perfectly blissful, velvet sand. it wasn't empty but it wasn't packed. so lovely. we parked ourselves on our mexican green picnic blanket beneath some trees and lingered over the newspaper and snoozed. afterwards, we took the winding road back home and found a few more barns and fields to photograph, a cool abandonned drive-in and an uber modern winery.

I love that whole sandbanks side. We were out there a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely.
Hey! Happy belated birthday. And that looks like a lovely roadtrip.
