fire at daybreak
no foolin' this morning we awoke to sirens and smoke. not in house thankfully but across the alleyway. one street over, a small apartment building went up in smoke. the real smoke monster. a reminder that life is a gift.
now how that feels. our neighbours hous burned few years ago. a lightning went into it. it was late in the night. kids sleept allready and i was in bed also. suddenly i heard someone crying for help. tryed to call the fireworkers and my husband went to the hous and held the man back. he wanted to go upstairs to save all the honey he had inside. our kids and those from our neighbours came to me and watched the fire.
anyway wish you a happy easter and God bless you all
